Contrast, and what it can teach me I have found, is a key player in this game of business and self-discovery. This week I experienced these two extremes on the same day. Contrast is like a thermometer. It tests your mettle. It challenges your intention and helps to keep you on track with your boundaries and what you do and don’t want in your business and life.
My first encounter was with a small business owner who is experiencing the challenge with people paying her for services rendered. As we discussed some of the issues, I discovered that in turn, she is not paying her bills or for the services that she, in turn, has received. The more I chatted with her the more I recognised that there was an inability for her to connect. There was absolutely no connection between the two on her part so sadly, that cycle won’t be breaking anytime soon unless a connection is made between the two.
My second encounter was 1 hour later and was with someone who has recently joined our community. She is so excited about all that she is learning and let us know that the energy and vibe she experienced at her last couple of events is unlike anything that she has been to before for women in business. This is a joyful moment for me, because I know that this is the universe encouraging me forward, letting me know that this is what its about, people can feel it, and this person, this lovely new member has the ability and willingness to connect.
This last part is the lesson of the contrast. Our strongest value and intention is for connection. If someone is willing to make connection then we are a great fit, If they are not willing, thats okay, we just won’t be the right fit.
What is your contrast? and what is it teaching you?
Until next week,
love and hugs
Andy xx
