First Month Down – Whats your Measuring Stick? | WWA

Ola!
Happy February everyone

So first month down. Are you reviewing your results for January? or is January a right-off month due to summer holidays? I feel like it went so fast that I can hardly believe it’s February already. I don’t know about you, but I think I want to rebel.  I would rather measure my commitment, energy, passion and focus rather than the actual figures or outcomes….  not good for business….. yes I get it. To me though it’s SOOOOO important.  I would rather my children finish school as well adjusted, emotionally and socially secure adults as my measure of success rather than what they achieve in their ATAR. Even though I can be competitive I still want my daughter to have fun when she is playing netball. If she misses her goals but tried her best and had fun that’s all that matters to me. And yet my neighbour thinks I’m bonkers’s ( well, yes I know I am bonkers but don’t tell anyone 😉 and that the measure for successful childhood is how well her kids will have done in the HSC.  What do you think? How do you measure your success? Is it in material possessions or a feeling of peace and accomplishment.  At Christmas time, my husband and kids and I had the most affordable holiday we have ever taken, we relaxed, laughed, spent time with family and didn’t spend much money on fairs, parks, or tourist activities and we had a ball, I felt like we had a really lovely holiday in equal measure to the time we went to QLD and did the theme parks and exciting activities

The biggest house with the biggest TV ? or more love and laughter in your life? – I’m talking priorities as I imagine most of us want all of the above. Think about the last thing you felt a sense of accomplishment and joy What was it for? How did you feel? Love to hear your thoughts on your measuring stick for life and success! Please share in the comments below,

Until next week
